Pixie | Art & Brand Consultant
As a best friend since childhood, no one sees Deerest’s vision like Pixie can. Pixie studied fine arts in Carmarthen, and now uses her incredible perspective to create makeup looks, sets, posters, accessories, and artwork for the entire Deerest project.

Lewis | Producer & Guitarist
Reconnecting after their college years, Lewis has taken Deerest’s album from demo to stage. Lewis has also lent his producing talents to Pavilion Rd and Conor Maradona’s recent releases.

Jayne | Photographer
Since meeting Deerest, Jayne has been a familiar face at almost every live show, camera in hand. Through her lens, she captures the energy, emotion, and storytelling. Jayne’s photography has helped tell Deerest’s story, shooting the cover images for the single releases and the debut album.

Bron | Bassist & Backing Vocalist
Deerest found Bron at a Mari Purr show, Bron’s sapphic folk-synth band, in which she place bass and guitar. Bron’s enthusiasm for Deerest’s music brought a fire to the project, where she played bass on a few album tracks and at some live shows, too.

Cai | Drummer
Cai is the beating heart of Deerest’s debut album. Only 18 years old, he brings an unparalleled perspective and professionalism. Cai also plays in the Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Seven Wonders.

Nick | Violinist
Nick is a classically trained violinist bringing warmth and energy to Deerest’s live shows. Alongside his orchestral and chamber music work, he has a love for folk, bluegrass and improvisation. Nick teaches music, enjoys photography, and is often exploring new languages and cultures.

Gustav | Graphic & Website Designer
Gustav, aka TalesWithHaggis, found Deerest through a shared passion or gaming and storytelling. All the way over in Sweden, Gustav designs logos and visuals, while building and adapting this very website.

Rowan | Violinist
Rowan is a freelance violin player, specialising in Celtic and European traditional folk music. His folk band Canna have just released a single called “Y Pibydd Coch“, a cross between traditional folk music and modern folk sensibilities.

Luned | Acoustic Guitarist
Luned is a spectacular singer-songwriter in her own right. Haunting lyrics and gentle melodies, Luned is an emerging star of Welsh storytelling. Her debut single “The Mist” is a prime example.

Ellie | Bass
Ellie is an impeccable bassist who worked her magic on Deerest’s three lead singles. You can feel her power in the Welsh alt-rock band, REVENANT.

Alexander | Keys
Making Deerest’s acquaintance when they played on the same bill in Trefforest, Alexander plays keys for Mari Purr, a folk-synth band that’s been playing since last Halloween. Keep an eye out for their upcoming EP “The Haunted Woman”.

Seren | Keys & Backing Vocals
Drawing on years of musical experience, Seren’s backing vocals and piano truly brought the album to life. Seren has played piano since age seven, and has completed all eight graded examinations.
